About Us | Meet the Consultants | Gary Tansley

A Cambridge graduate in Mathematics, Gary started his career at Bacon & Woodrow and qualified as an actuary in 1990.

As a senior actuary, Gary has many years' experience of advising a range of clients from major multinationals to smaller employers on all aspects of their pension arrangements, including several with schemes that switched from DB to DC pension provision.

Gary joined us in 2005. As well as advising clients, he enjoys the challenge of keeping us and our clients on top of legislative and other developments. This extends to populating our website with 'News' and our more detailed research, known as 'In Focus'.

Gary also plays an active role in the NAPF’s South East Group and is currently the Group's Chairman.

In his spare time, Gary plays golf to varying degrees of success and enjoys pub quizzes, rock concerts and fast cars!
